Verna Mosquera Retreat Day Two

Neta (table mate) and Pam (Verna's Assistant Extraordinaire)

Having the time of my life!
It is such a happy experience and Verna Mosquera has a wonderful talent - first and foremost she is a happy woman, who puts her family and mothering first and then she shares her passion for design and applique so abundantly that everyone feels uplifted  and excited to be there.

She is so beautiful while she appliques!
I have to get names tomorrow - sorry.
All the women are so talented and joyful!
Amazing talent!
Check out her needle case.
Two of my table mates collaborating.
Our Watering Hole
So much to see and learn and do
but this girl's heading for bed.
There is another full day tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by.

I'm jealous. Give Verna a hug from me. She was my very first teacher and mentor and I just adore her. Have tons of fun!

Oh, I would love to go to a retreat like that. Where was the retreat held and who was it sponsored by? I've been traveling - across country - doing all the driving - with my hubby - and a dog - in terrible weather!!! If that's not a reason to need a retreat, I don't know what is!!!

Gran, this looks like a totally FUN day!! I love Verna's style and even made a ruffled back with a fabric of hers! I would love to come up and spend some good crafting time with you! Let me know when you have another event.

Thinking of you....
HUGS coming your way...
