The Day After the Two Days Before

What the heck kind of title is that!?  Well, let me explain - briefly....
My DH experienced chest pains on both flights on our trip to the East Coast.  Came home, saw the doctor, the doctor ordered tests and you know the rest of the drill.  He was in the hospital for two days. The good news is it is not the plumbing (arteries), the bad news it is an electrical situation.  They will be running tests for the next three weeks and we should have more definitive information after that.  Interestingly he feels fine, looks fine, is fine!!  In fact he went to work today, happy as a clam (all wired up with a heart monitor, but feeling just fine.)  One of the reasons I choose to share this more personal information is I would like to hear from any of your via email if you have experienced your DH having electrical heart issues.

While in the hospital being the "wife",  I had my handy dandy latest stitchery ready to go...  This is a picture of what I worked on in between things.  It helped me remain calm....

I hope to hear from some of you soon.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. My hubby is so far so good. Thank goodness. Although he does have that allergy asthma issue that prohibits my having kitties!!

Earth Science (my 33 year old son) has had arrhythmia for at least five years - he wore a heart monitor for 24 hours and experienced over a thousand extra heartbeats - he has modified his diet to exclude caffeine and has lowered sodium intake to bring it under control ...his paternal grandfather had arrhythmia, too - and, even though he has passed, it wasn't his heart that did him in ... and i worked with a man who had a pacemaker due to electrical problems - he is living a full and happy life, too (although he did say that it felt weird when he'd feel the pacemaker kick in)

your stitchery is, as always, LOVELY!

I hope things settle down for him (and you) soon and that something can be sorted with the "electrical" problem.....always handy to have the stitching on hand...last year when the Prince was still the Prince I sat with him in a hospital "emergency" room for 8 hours...and got loads of stitching done! He was ok after a couple of days in hospital...high blood pressure which is now under control...

I sure wish I had some words of wisdom for you Gran, but I'm afraid I don't know anyone w/that sort of problem. I certainly hope your honey will be OK tho and he will be in my prayers :)
